Description

Create invoices, process customer payments, follow-up on late payments, resolve invoice and pricing discrepancies with customers, and create accounting reports.

Description

Process purchasing requests from various departments. Get competitive pricing and look for cost reduction opportunities.

Quality Manager – 1st shift

Description

Manage all functions in quality department, including defect processing, corrective action, supplier quality, ISO audit procedures, calibrations, and other quality-related tasks. Manage team of 3-5 people, including quality technicians and engineers.

$60,000 to $80,000 or more annually, dependent on experience

Quality Technician – 1st shift, part-time available

Description

Process internal and external defects. Analyze defects using quality lab equipment to determine root causes and implement corrective actions. Complete first article inspections on production orders. Calibrate quality equipment according to schedule.

Manufacturing Automation Technician – All shifts, part-time available

Description

Complete process improvements, workplace organization, and preventative maintenance on automation equipment. Run automation equipment in production. Provide training to operators. Assist in new automation builds.

Quality Engineer – 1st shift

Description

Process internal and external defects. Analyze defects using quality lab equipment to determine root causes and implement corrective actions. Visit suppliers to evaluate their quality systems to understand how our processes may need to adapt to improve quality.

$65,000 or more annually, dependent on experience

Design and Automation Engineer – 1st shift

Description

Design parts, tooling, or fixtures for use in production. Participate in teams to design and implement automation projects. Perform routine engineering requests from other departments.

$65,000 to $85,000 or more annually, dependent on experience

Maintenance Technician – 2nd shift, part-time available

Description

Follow and complete preventative maintenance checklists for machine inspections and repairs. Complete maintenance work orders to repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Description

Do I need any experience to work at Dakota Tube?

No, we have people from all backgrounds and experiences that work at Dakota Tube, including individuals with no experience, and those with a background in fast food, retail, hairdressing, etc. All training, including safety and department training, is provided.

What are your benefits offered?

What are your wages?

  • 1st shift production starts at $22 per hour and has a career path up to $26 per hour. This can be completed in as little as 9 months.
  • 2nd and 4th shift production start at $24 per hour and has a career path up to $28 per hour. This can be completed in as little as 9 months.
  • Higher wages are available beyond that if you become a supervisor or get promoted to a different area.
  • For jobs other than production, wages are dependent upon the job you are looking into, as well as prior experience. See open positions.

What’s the production work like?

Light industrial work. Typically includes handling parts that weigh 1-2 pounds and operating a machine or packaging the parts. There are a variety of different jobs to choose from in production, with a variety of different work paces.

Tours are offered for individuals to view production work for themselves.

What does Dakota Tube do?

We manufacture hydraulic tube assemblies from steel tubing for construction and agriculture customers. Our customers make tractors, combines, skid steers, backhoes and other heavy off-road equipment.

What are the shift schedules?

Normal:

  • 1st Shift: 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday-Thursday
  • 2nd Shift: 4:30pm to 3:00am Monday-Thursday
  • 4th Shift: 6:00am to 6:30pm Friday-Sunday
  • Voluntary overtime up to 60 hours

During mandatory OT:

  • 1st Shift: 5:00am to 5:00pm, Monday-Thursday, 6 hours OT every other Friday
  • 2nd Shift: 5:00pm to 5:00am Monday-Thursday, 6 hours OT every other Friday
  • 4th Shift: 6:00am to 6:30pm Friday-Sunday, 6 hours OT with signups during the week
